Questions to Ask Yourself About Your Organization include:

Do I have a Compliance Program in place based upon the 8 Elements of Compliance as published by the OIG in the Federal Register?

Can I document a reliable history of Compliance Self Disclosures?

Can I document that the FIRST USE of our Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement has been to implement a Compliance Program as required in the Indian Healthcare Improvement Act?
If you answered "NO" to any of these questions it is unlikely that you will pass an OIG audit, and you will lose your Medicare and Medicaid Funds!
